Professional Development Workshop:
This year's professional development workshop is designed to help you make interactions with your colleagues more efficient and to improve the design and delivery of the safety training for your institution.
The workshop is divided into two parts. The first part uses the Everything DISC model to help you to better understand yourself, work style and how your preferences differ from others. Every participant will receive a personalized DISC report. The second part of the training focuses on applying this new understanding of yourself and others to instructional design and delivery. Some participants may choose to have safety training materials or presentations critiqued by the presenter. Our goal is to have you come away with skills to make workplace interactions more enjoyable and effective.
Dave Finley of Performance will lead the workshop. Dave has advanced degrees in applied behavioral analysis and communications. He is a Certified Trainer with expertise in Instructional Design, Business Consulting Leadership/Management, and Communications.
The training will be held Sunday, November 6 from 1-5 and Monday, November 7 from 8-noon at the Embassy Suite, Saratoga. The cost for Members and Student Members is $250.00 before 9/14/22 $300 on or after 9/14/22 till 10/7/22, Non Members $450 before 9/14/22 $500 on or after 9/14/22 till 10/7/22.
